How to Vote
Every vote FOR this levy matters, and knowing exactly how, when, and where to cast yours shouldn’t be complicated. Below, you’ll find answers to the most common questions about voting in November’s election, from registration deadlines to absentee ballots to polling locations. Whether you’ve voted in Upper Arlington for decades or this is your first time, we want to make sure nothing stands between you and the ballot box.
When can I vote?
Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls will be open 6:30am – 7:30pm.
Note: On Election Day, you must vote at your designated precinct. You can check your registration to make sure it’s up to date at the Ohio Secretary of State’s website.
Can I vote before Election Day?
Upper Arlington residents can vote prior to Election Day by mail or in person through the absentee voting process.

Once the Franklin County Board of Elections updates its website for the general election, we will provide more information about early in-person voting.
Do I need to register or update my information?
In Ohio, you must register to vote no later than 30 days prior to an election. For this election, that deadline is Monday, October 5, 2026. You can register to vote online at the Ohio Secretary of State’s website.
